At Resync, we’re fanatics about heart health. We care about your heart's emotional and physical health so you can feel, look, and perform your best.
Today I want to ask you a question, how does your heart feel? Have you even thought about it?
I believe many of us take our hearts for granted. We wake up and expect it to do its work, right? Rarely do we think about how our nutrition, physical conditioning, and emotions affect our heart health.
It’s never too late in paying attention to our internal balance that your heart plays an enormous role in.
For this blog, I am going to focus on the nutritional aspect because that’s where Resync shines.
You can tell by looking at the high quality natural nitric oxide blends in every one of our products. Start here to learn what exercising, eating, and drinking for heart health looks like.
In this article:
If you want a refresher on why nitric oxide is the most important molecule for your cardiovascular health, start here: Why Nitric Oxide Matters.
Recognized around the world as the day to take a moment for your heart health, World Heart Federation’s World Heart Day shines light on what you can do to for yourself and your family to get the best out of life for a long time to come.
I can pretty much guarantee you that any person reading this right now knows someone taken too soon by heart disease.
With cardiovascular disease being the number one cause of death globally, it’s apparent that there is only one person you can rely on to fight the rising tide of heart disease: You.
At the core of preventing heart disease are lifestyle and behavior ー the choices you make every day. As I mentioned at the beginning, the way you think, you move, what you eat and drink, and even the way you breathe can make the difference between a healthy heart and one that’s at risk.
Imagine two neighbors, Frank and Paul. Both are your average American: they eat fast food on a regular basis, their main vegetables are potatoes and tomatoes (think: french fries and pizza, according to USDA food availability data), and they get a total of two hours of exercise per week.
After reading our blog that describes the link between Covid-19 and obesity, Frank decides that he needs to get moving, at least the minimum 5 hours suggested by the CDC. The strain on his heart goes down, his cholesterol levels start to normalize, he feels more relaxed and energized on a regular basis, he sleeps better (in part due to better performonce in bed), he gets sick less often, and he even starts losing weight thanks to the extra 1000 calories per week he ends up burning.
With Frank’s extra energy, he’s able to play with his grandkids more, while Paul watches from his porch. Frank feels up and at ‘em while Paul can’t seem to get the energy back that he used to feel.
When Frank sees his doctor next, he’s pleasantly surprised that he’s able to lower his medications.
That starts the healthy cycle for Frank of getting his life together and getting out from under the umbrella of the “average American couch potato”. He ends up living to see his great-grandkids, not worrying about whether he could take the stairs at the age of 65, and thriving to his last day because he said “yes” to taking care of his heart.
Paul, he didn’t fare so well. Like the average American, he had his first heart attack at 65. This started a downward spiral that dogged him into his last years.
Life extension, viral immunity, restful sleep, energy, mind enhancement, physical prowess. It might sound like I’m describing a banned performance enhancing drug.
But I’m just talking about getting your heart rate up every day with heart healthy exercise. All it takes to reduce your risk of heart disease is a fast walk or bike ride, gardening, or even a quick home workout or yoga if you feel like staying in due to coronavirus.
So, be like Frank: get moving! Regardless of your weight or your current health, take a moment for yourself, take a moment for your future, take a moment for your family and your friends, your heart will appreciate that.
We’ve written a lot about healthy movement and exercise, so if you want more resources check out our other articles here:
There may be one day that the world celebrates how precious your heart health is, but at Resync, every day is heart day.
From our educational blogs on nitric oxide (start here: 6 Healthy Benefits of Nitric Oxide from Natural Nitrates) to the transparency and quality control of all our heart healthy, nitric oxide-boosting products and more, we live and breathe heart health.
Earlier in 2020, we even partnered with a cardiac rehabilitation clinic in Canada to conduct a study to see the benefits Resync can have on cardiovascular function. I think you’ll want to see these results!
Over the course of 5 weeks (the study was supposed to run 6 weeks, but most people dropped out in the last week due to fear of Covid-19), strain on the heart decreased substantially.
That’s the difference between a healthy heart and borderline heart disease.
That’s the difference between dealing with the side effects of a drug and being able to manage your heart health naturally.
That’s the difference between flexible veins that can handle a little huffing and puffing while you play with your kids, and stiff arteries that get clogged up with cholesterol.
When we separated patients based on whether the strain on their heart was above or below 139/89 (the average in those getting two doses), the results made me say “wow” out loud. The 50% of patients with the highest strain on their hearts dropped the most!
So what does this mean for you?
This study shows that taking 1 to 2 servings of Resync Recovery every day improved markers of heart health, especially in people with higher burden of disease. Talk to your cardiologist before making any major changes to your diet, lifestyle, supplements, and medication.
In only one week of taking Resync daily, patients saw beneficial effects across the board. Some measures rebounded after an initial decrease, but all measures showed an improvement over time, especially in those with the most severe heart disease.
Visit our Cardiovascular Health & Resync page to view the complete results of this study. If you care about blood pressure and general heart health, this data is for you. The results show that Resync may be an up-and-coming contender for helping you meet your heart health goals.
Now let’s talk about other ways you can take charge of your heart health.
Eating for health is something out of reach for many Americans. I think that’s a shame, which is why I started the Let’s Make America Healthier fundraiser challenge. Resync’s Healthy Bucket Challenge aims to enhance our community while spreading the generosity of our customers.
As a business, we deliver one tub of our Resync Recovery (which is based on vegetables and fruits to support the heart and immune system) per each family in need every month. Additionally, we take $1 of each purchased product towards this cause. If you follow us on social media, you see that we go every Friday afternoon to deliver bags of fresh vegetables and fruits to local families in need.
We invite any individuals or businesses, big or small, to support us to make America healthier. Our goal is to raise $30k by the end of the year to support 10 local families every week. This is our minimum goal, but we can raise more and help many more families with your help!
We believe, together, we can help people to thrive, not just survive during this pandemic.

I know what you’re thinking, heart healthy drinking??? Tell me more!
I’ve got a surprise for you. No, I’m not going to talk about the possibility that small amounts of polyphenol-rich alcohol like wine or beer every now and then may actually be good for your heart health (check out this American Heart Association article for that).
I want to introduce you to Resync's newest innovation.
Heart Health?
Clean Energy?
Immune support?
A luscious experience to drink, and an invigorating experience to feel, Resync’s citrus-aronia sparkling beverage is the first heart healthy drink of its kind.
The sweetest part?
Resync RTD has only a single gram of sugar.
With a flavor so rich, you might imagine we added nasty artificial flavors or something. But if you’ve been around with us for a bit, you know that Resync stands for quality and transparency. Besides the tasty natural extracts, all we’ve added for sweetness is monk fruit. We think it tastes great, but we ask you to be the judge. The beverage industry needs dramatic changes and our society is craving something healthy, not just water and fruit juice.
Elevating your health by elevating your nitric oxide levels with natural inorganic nitrates ensures your body can take whatever comes at it.
Nitric oxide is actually central to the function of your entire body, not just your heart.
Since we’re obsessed with the best, we’ve put together all kinds of materials for you. Check these resources out:
